BASIC is an outsider music super group of sorts, born from living room jam sessions in Philly apartements, chanelling late '80s era college radio vibes. The trio now consists of Chris Forsyth (Peeesseye), Mikel Patrick Avery (Natural Information Society), and Douglas McCombs (Tortoise).
Opening the night will be the unpredictable return of Eta Corina, a collaboration between guitarist Ben Chasny (6 organs) and violinist Aolani (Sake) that briefly sparkled within the Hardcore Metal scene of Humboldt's gen-x heyday.
Bar opens at 6pm. Show from 8pm - 10:30pm. 21+
