ABOUT ABOUT

Sort of like if Michel Gondry directed a hilarious cross between LABYRINTH and Tarkovsky's STALKER. This DIY masterpiece about an artist who gets lost inside a supernatural cardboard fort he builds in his living room features a massive, CGI-free set made of 30,000 scrap cardboard boxes including mythical carbdoard creatures. "If you're looking for something different - and mean it when you say so - Dave Made a Maze is a joy." - Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times

"Wildly inventive on a micro-budget scale... an impressively crafted feature that’s full of frequent surprises." - Hollywood Reporter

"There aren’t sufficient words to describe the remarkable visual environment; suffice it to say that the production designers are the stars here as much as the cast." - Boston Globe

"The idiosyncrasy and resourcefulness are impressive... just the kind of project that’s bound to accrue a cult following." - Variety

"A movie that's genuinely bigger on the inside." - L.A. Weekly
