Making its California debut, Body Academics Presents “Evil Babylon”: a religious science fiction movie musical masterpiece. The story of a sexually repressed evangelical race driver and the cult-like planet that leads him on a journey towards self acceptance! Featuring all original music, Evil Babylon stars a bevy of Portland drag stars including Carla Rossi, Pepper Pepper, Silhouette, Desdemona Lisa and many more! The film has its world premiere at a sold-out showing at Portland’s historic Hollywood Theater as part of its “Queer Horror” programming.
Showings at 6:30pm and 8:30pm. 21 & up only. After the film stick around to celebrate with the cast at THROAT GOAT, an afterparty hosted by the cast with local DJ’s DJ Rose & Kid Telex plus local drag artists Komboujia and Thrash & Recycling. This event kicks off with a special homecoming performance by Body Academics and additional out of town drag talent and DJ’s from Portland and Washington. Entry to the party is free with a ticket to the film!
Costumes bondage gear and goth inspired outfits highly encouraged!
