ABOUT ABOUT

TWO DAYS ONLY! International Peace Day screenings 9/21 + encore matinee 9/24. Today we are at war within ourselves, with our environment, and with the world. Award-winning filmmaker Greg Reitman invites viewers on a film journey to take notice of the world we live in, proactively seek ways to find personal and ecological peace, and stop the cycle of violence. Featuring interviews with David Lynch, Desmond Tutu, Donovan, Deepak Chopra, the late Pete Seeger, Noble Peace Laureate Mairead Maguire, green architect William McDonough, neuroscientist Dan Siegel and more, ROOTED in PEACE challenges viewers to examine their values as Americans and human beings.

"Greg Reitman is indeed the right man to make this sweet and poignant film at just the right time—amidst a current backdrop of political bitterness, unprecedented national divisiveness and bellicose buildup of military might at the expense of public health and our environment." - Huffington Post

"As message vehicles go, 'Rooted in Peace' may be the hot cocoa and marshmallows version of a Michael Moore film, but ‘tis the season, after all." - Los Angeles Times

“Offers a profound story and fertile ground for everyone interested in growing a global culture of peace.” - J. Frederick Arment, Founding Director, International Cities of Peace
